When I wear this mod style dress I always feel like I need to have a cocktail glass in hand.  Those of you who know me well know that Sunday thru Thursday it’s mocktails for me.  When the weekend rolls around I look forward to a very worthy cocktail each evening.  Yep, two cocktails a week so they have to be tasty and worthy.  So today I thought I would share some summer mocktails and cocktails recipes that make my mouth water.

Just a friendly reminder 😊

My Standby  Summer Mocktails and Cocktails

My usual mocktail is a small bottle of Topo Chico every day around 5:30 when I am winding the day down and starting dinner.  To make it really stand out and feel special I pour it into a wine glass.  Oh the tricks we play to make our day a little more special.

Ok, this cocktail has been my worthy choice many weekends this summer I have made it with blueberries and blackberries.  The delicious blend of berries, mint, ginger and the finishing touch of a sparkling rose are AMAZING.  Yes, it take a few minutes to make this one.  Trust me it is worth the time.  To cut back on a few of the carbs I have been using this Ginger Beer and really like the flavor and sweetness of it.  For the sparkling wine, I have been buying this Rose in cans.  My buddy in the wine department at Whole Foods did not steer me wrong when he suggested it for this purpose.

OK, you know that I have been enjoying the Georgia Peaches this summer.  You can read more about that here.  This sparkling Peach and Thyme Mocktail just sound delicious to enjoy some with some of our end of season peaches.

Cucumbers are always refreshing and hydrating in the summertime and this Virgin Cucumber Giblet might just make that weeknight mocktail a little more like having a true cocktail in my mind.
