When the weekend rolls around I look forward to a very worthy cocktail each evening. Yep, two cocktails a week so they have to be tasty and worthy. My Standby Summer Mocktails and Cocktails
My usual mocktail is a small bottle of Topo Chico every day around 5:30 when I am winding the day down and starting dinner. To make it really stand out and feel special I pour it into a wine glass. Oh the tricks we play to make our day a little more special.
Ok, this cocktail has been my worthy choice many weekends this summer I have made it with blueberries and blackberries. The delicious blend of berries, mint, ginger and the finishing touch of a sparkling rose are AMAZING. Yes, it take a few minutes to make this one. Trust me it is worth the time. To cut back on a few of the carbs I have been using this Ginger Beer and really like the flavor and sweetness of it. For the sparkling wine, I have been buying this Rose in cans. My buddy in the wine department at Whole Foods did not steer me wrong when he suggested it for this purpose.
