Midweek Meander #15: Clean Beauty I’m Loving

Clean Beauty products were at the top of my list as must tries in 2021. This is something that I have decided to ease into, not go full throttle. I actually wanted to focus more on my skin care products versus cosmetics. Gotta leave something for next year, right? I figured one category at a time.
What are “clean” beauty products anyways. The best definition I could find is that they are products that are made without ingredients shown or suspected to harm human health. The last few years this has been an exploding industry with more and more women spending money on them. Everyone wants to look good and feel good about the things we are using on our skin. One thing about it, glowing skin is always in. This was an interesting article about the industry and how necessary clean beauty products really are and how much is being spent on them. Here’s what I’m loving.
Snow Rose Recovery Mask | Organic Body Oil | Tanning Drops
Clean Products I’m Using All of the Time for My Body
Honest Organic Body Oil. I love a good body oil any day of the year. In the winter my favorite thing to use is pure Jojoba Oil. I have concluded that it does not work for summer since it take a while for my skin to absorb. Not a good combination for summer PJs and clean sheets. My mission this spring was to find something that was lightweight and that absorbed quickly. This body oil checks all of the boxes and really does a nice job of hydrating my skin.
Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops. I like to have a bit of a golden glow without spending much time in the sun. Who doesn’t? Now much time in the sun and using SPF50 for sun damage protection are not the recipe for a golden glow. Enter the self tanners. These drops have been great. I add them to my CeraVe lotion and can control the amount of glow by how many drops I put in the lotion.
I then slather it on my body. The drops create a great color and are easy to use.
FYI, If you decide to try them start with fewer drops and just add another coat the next day if you want more golden glow.
Clean Beauty Products for My Face
Telluride Glow Snow Rose Recovery Mask. Oh how my face looks forward to this mask every week. Not only does it make my skin feel hydrated, but it gives me an amazing glow from all of the detoxification. I am so lucky to get to try new products that are gifted to me. Originally Telluride Glow sent me The Purist Delicate Skin Serum and the Aspen Dew Illuminating Essence.
My skin loved both of these products so much that I have continued to purchase them for myself and that does not happen often around here at SASforShort. When I ordered serum replacements they sent me a sample of the Snow Rose Recovery Mask. I had to order a full size right away. Please take the time to explore their website www.tellurideglow.com and all of the benefits of their products. You can use my code GLOWBETH for 20% off any of their products.
As I try more products that I love, I will share them with you. If you are looking for ways to keep your hands hydrated and happy, you can read a post that I did on that this past winter. I am still using these products to keep my hands happy.
Please let me know if you try any of these products and what you think about them. I love to hear from you. Remember to have a little SASs in your day.
Hugs,
All of these products sound like great additions to my skincare routine. Thank you for sharing this information and for keeping us up to date.
I’m always on the lookout for products to keep us looking our best.
I need to use more oils because it’s so dry here! Yet summer is not a time you want to be weighed down, so I’ll have to look into this oil. Thanks Beth,
XOXO

I love to use oils too. My usual go to was too slow to absorb, but this one is perfect right out of the shower. Absorbs nicely and just take a little bit.
