The Sephora Beauty Sale begins today. This is always a sale that I look forward to every time it rolls around. Yes, it usually happens twice yearly, and I am always ready for it. Just like Christmas I am making my list and checking it twice.
Sephora is my go-to store for oh so many beauty things. I know that I can always find what I am looking for regarding makeup, hair care, and some of my skincare favorites. That’s why I take inventory. See what I’m running low on and then I make a list of things that I would like to try. The fall sale is also a good time to start some holiday shopping.

How To Shop The Sephora VIB Sale
Are you a Sephora Insider? The Sephora VIB Sale is a sale that the brand runs just for its insiders. Basically, all you have to do is sign up for a free account here. The Sephora VIB program is just a rewards account that tracks all of your purchases with the company.
The more you shop with them, the more points you get. More points equals more rewards. You can turn those points into gift certificates that go towards your purchases. I always save mine up for a special treat for myself like a new bottle of perfume.
The other way you get rewarded is by a birthday goodie the month of your birthday and there are other freebies you can choose from with your points.
The Sephora sale is for two weeks. The VIB Rouge members get 20% off for the full two weeks. The VIB members get 15% off during a specific number of days, and then the Beauty Insiders get 10% off during their days to shop. The dates to shop are below. All shoppers get 30% off the entire Sephora Collection for the entire sale.
The Sephora Beauty Insider Levels
The Beauty Insider Program has three levels. Beauty Insider, VIB, and VIB Rouge.
This is the membership level that you get when you sign up for the Beauty Insider Program. You will start accumulating points to get to the next tier of benefits. As an Insider, you receive 1 point for every $1 spent.
This level is a minimum of $350 annual spend at Sephora. You receive 1.25 points for every $1 you spend.
This is the top level of the program. It is a minimum of $1,000 annual spend. You will receive 1.5 points for every $1 you spend and you will receive free standard shipping on all of your orders.

My Sephora Sale Picks
Now it’s time to get to the fun stuff. As I mentioned earlier I like to do an inventory in my bathroom before the sale starts so I can stock up on some of my favorites and try a couple of new things.
A few of my favorite hair care brands are a part of this sale. I have fine hair so I am a fan of Amika Volume Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner. The Soulfood mask by Amika is also part of my weekly hair moisturizing routine.
The other brand of hair care that I stock up on during the Sephora Sale is Living Proof. I really like their Full Shampoo and Conditioner. I also use several Living Proof styling products on my fine, straight hair. The texturizing foam works great on the roots of my wet hair and I really like the thickening blow dry cream on the ends of my hair to make my hair look fuller and thicker.
After I have blown my hair dry, this texture spray is what I love to use “dirty up” my clean hair. It helps it hold the volume. I spray it at my roots.
When it comes to makeup I use a combination of regular and clean beauty products so this category is going to be a mish mash of the two.
All of the photos that you see me in I always have on Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation. It is on the pricier side so I always replenish it during the Sephora Sale. I use this when I want a flawless look like in photos or if we are going out for the evening. It is not my daily go to. For everyday, I usually use this tinted moisturizer.
I really like the flush balm by Merit for my blush. My two favorite colors are Beverly Hills and Cheeky.
The last few years I have switched from powder eye shadow to crayon type pencils. I just like the way that they glide onto my eyelids and stay put all day long. Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow is my favorite that I always go back to. I have hazel eyes and my favorite combination to wear is Copper, Khaki, and Vanilla Kiss.
This Charlotte Tilbury Eye Shadow Pencil in Champagne Diamonds is my everyday go to. It is just enough color and sparkle on my lids without really having color. I know it says for blue eyes, but I still wear it on my hazel eyes.
I religiously use this setting spray every day. Love the extra Vitamin C for my skin.
You know I love a good bright lip and this white lip pencil has been a game changer for me. Instead of always trying to find a coordinating lip pencil this is just my go-to. I keep one in the bathroom and one in my purse at all times. I also like to have a nude lip pencil that matches the color of my lips for some lipstick colors. This nude pink is a great color.
Merit lipstick is a new favorite for me. It is so hydrating. I will say that it is sheer and you do have to reapply it. If I wear the Merit Shade Slick over it, then it seems to last a little longer. A favorite combination for fall is Slip lipstick and Marrakech Shade Slick.
I have a problem with lipstick in that I have many shades that are favorites. My big thing is that I really like lipstick that has good pigment and it is very hydrating. The brands that I really like to wear are Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture and Dior Addict Refillable Shine Lipstick.
When it comes to lashes I am clean mascara all the way. I alternate between this tubing mascara and this mascara. This eyelash primer is good with any clean mascara and is the only clean beauty primer that I have found.
I have my lashes tinted so I don’t use any type of pencils, but what I do use to keep my lashes in place is this clear gel from Anastasia.
When it comes to my skincare I do try to use as many clean products as possible. Alpyn Beauty sent me some of their products earlier this year and I have repurchased some of them because I like them so much. This cold cream cleanser leaves my skin feeling so clean, yet soft and not stripped at night. They also make a great plumping lip mask that I will repurchase when it is empty and one of their latest products The Super Peptide and Goshberry Barrier Repair cream is amazing. I use it on top of my RetinA at night.
This Great Skin Glow Serum is a must if you like a dewy youthful glow to you skin. I wear it under the foundation that I suggested earlier and underneath my tinted moisturizer. You will be glowing and look like you have just had a facial every day.
Since all of my face balancing earlier this year I really started taking better care of my neck. I use this Neck Serum twice a day. My neck feels so much softer.
Gift IDeas From The Sale
During the fall sale, Sephora always has some great sets and items that are perfect for gift-giving or putting on your wish list. One thing that I like to stock up on is their hand masks and foot masks. These are great stocking stuffer ideas.
This hand and nail cream is also a nice gift to give to girlfriends who are difficult to buy for. It is so luxurious. It is the last thing I put on before going to bed at night.
Every year Sephora comes out with new gift sets. It is a fun way to try new things. You can browse all of the sets here.
