The Best Spring and Summer Perfumes for Her

Spring is here and summer is just around the corner.  That means that the sun is shining longer, the temperatures are warmer, and we are showing a little more skin.  So it’s time to lighten up the scent our spring and summer perfumes.

Some people like to stick with a signature scent all year round.  Others like to change things up just like we do with our fashion choices and trends for the season.  (You can read more about my take on spring trends  here.)

What is the Best Scent for Spring and Summer Perfumes

The perfect scent is actually one of the most personal things in the beauty world. If you are like me, the fragrance that you choose depends upon your mood and the occasion.  However, when we think of spring and summer perfumes there are two categories that come to mind floral or fruity.

Some days we may want to wear something that brings back memories from fun days at the beach, scents from spring walks in the park, or even an exotic vacation destination.  Floral and fruit scents work with all of those scenarios.

My Current Spring and Summer Perfumes

I have to admit that I like both fruity and light floral scents for spring and summer.  Sometimes I even like to layer the two together.  One of my very favorite combinations for warm weather is Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin (fruity) with Tory Burch Signature Eau de Parfum (floral).  Don’t be afraid to layer the two scents together.  Jo Malone encourages that with their scents, but I take it another step and layer their light scents with some of my other favorites.  That being said I am going to break down my favorite scents for warmer weather for you.  Hope you will give some of these a try if you are looking for something to add to your perfume selections.  The perfumes below are on the tray above and truly are some of my very favorites.

Ok, I have to admit that I do love  perfumes and now that I know how to properly store them I don’t hesitate trying new ones in small sizes regularly.  Please take a moment to read this to make sure you are getting the most out of your perfumes.

When I was doing the research for this post I kept coming across some of the same scents over and over.  Here are a few that I think are very worth trying.  They are tried and true bestsellers wherever you look.

I’ve gotten out of the habit of wearing perfumes because of all of the thinking with toxins and such. But I do know a few that are more natural and may have to try using them again.
