White Jeans in Winter

Yes, your white jeans in winter are totally acceptable. They can make an appearance any time of the year, not just Memorial Day to Labor Day. After this last week of colder than usual temperatures, I am ready for some lighter, brighter colors.  Let’s hope that the Groundhog Day prediction is correct and that spring is just around the corner.

That being said, I decided to break out the white jeans and show you one way that I like to wear them in the winter. For and easy OOTD I added a camel cashmere sweater, a colorful scarf, and neutral booties (similar). The scarf is the finishing touch that brings everything together in this ensemble.

My scarf of choice today is a classic Missoni chevron pattern.   It is a colorful addition that I have had in my closet for some time. Similar options from current season here and here.  Another option is gently used from The Real Real.

Missoni has been around since the 1950s and is known for its colorful knitwear designs. I was prompted to add a Missoni piece to my wardrobe when I first ready The 100: A Guide to the Pieces Every Stylish Woman Should Own by Nina Garcia.  This book is something that every woman who loves to wear beautiful, timeless classic pieces should read. It is a great guide to pieces that will stand the test of time in your wardrobe.  You will reach for them time and time again.  I also use it as a gift guide.  It gives me ideas for others as well as myself.  If my husband asks me for ideas, then I will mark items that I want to add to my wardrobe and it is a surprise (sort of).

Happy Monday.
