Denim Styles That Are Stylish And Comfortable

Petite Studio NYC recently launched their denim line and asked me to share my thoughts on a few of their styles. The styles that they have released are made to look great on petite figures. I find their jeans to fit true to size. I am wearing a size XS in all three styles.

Sevilla High Rise Wide Leg

This is a new style for spring. This vintage indigo wash is soft to the touch. The fit is slim through the waist and hips. Yes, this is a wide leg jeans; however I did not find the flare to be overwhelming. You need to wear a top tucked into this style of jeans so that you can show off all of the waistline details.

I am wearing them with a kitten heel slingback for heel height reference. If I were to wear them with flat I would need to have them trimmed about a half inch on the bottom. I am wear a size XS.

Odilia Mid Rise Straight Leg

The Odilia is a mid-rise straight leg jeans. It has flat pockets on the front of the jeans and the hem is finished. It is available in the cream that I am wearing and also in a medium wash.

The cotton is very soft to the touch. I find these jeans to be fitted through the waist and hips and then flare nicely. I know they refer to them as a straight leg, but I think of them as a slim wide leg option which is a favorite for me.

Pippa Denim Skirt

This denim midi skirt is one that you can reach for year round. It is made from 100% cotton and is soft to the touch. It is a structured, flattering fit and sits at the waist. The front slit makes it so that it is easy to move around in.

It is lightly faded to give it a lived-in look. You can pair this skirt with so many different styles of shirts….. tees to button-downs to sweaters.

Trousers That Will Elevate Your Look

I believe every woman needs to have a proper fitting pair of trousers in her closet. A pair that is in her favorite neutral so that she never has to think about what to pair with them. There is always something in her closet. Petite Studio NYC does a great job of designing such trousers for petites.

Reign Wool Pants

If you are a lover of lined wool pants like me, the the Reign pant is for you. This is one of their best-selling trousers and I understand why. The high waist and detailed pockets are very flattering. There is a small pleat in the front, but it does not add any additional bulk in the tummy area.

The legs are a nice width cut so that you can wear them with heels or even ankle boots. They are available in the brown and black wool blend I am wearing and also in an oatmeal color. I am wearing a size XS.
