10 Tops To Welcome Cooler Weather

Well, I am glad to welcome cooler weather this week.  We may have rain with it, but it’s so nice not to have 80+ degree weather.  I will be happy to bring out the rain boots and umbrella if needed.  These photos were taken about a week ago when we had no signs of cooler weather so I was pairing a cute sweater with shorts to at least make me feel like I could welcome cooler weather in my mind.

I know that my fall shirts are in need of a refresh this season so I thought I would see what I could find out there that was interesting at various price points to share with you.  This time of year is always challenging for me because we don’t have that long of a fall so I don’t want to invest too much money in tops that I won’t wear many times before I need something warmer.  Hopefully they will inspire you to take a look in your wardrobe and see if you need to add some things too.

Most of us are still sticking pretty closer to home so most of the things that I included work great with various washes of jeans or with comfortable black slacks.  If you are wanting to stay on trend then here’s a good article that I read recently about the Pantone color of the season classic blue.   If you are a lover of blue you might want to pick something up in this colorway.  It works well with so many neutral fall hues.

Cooler Weather Indoor Shoes

I have my favorite “indoor shoes” for summer and now am on the hunt for some good ones for the fall.  This summer I have been wearing Vionic flip flops which have great support, look nice on, and are comfortable.  I’ll keep you posted on what I find.  In the meantime, if you have some that you like for fall and winter, please drop me a note in the comments section.

Just a friendly reminder….
