Comfortable Heeled Sandals You Will Love To Wear This Summer

Comfort and high heels can go together. We are fortunate that today we don’t have to sacrifice comfort for style when it comes to shoes. Now, not all shoes are created equal. You have to know where to look to find comfortable heeled sandals.

I confess that I am a shoe lover. I no longer sacrifice comfort for my feet and legs. That is the beauty of shopping online for shoes in my opinion. You order and try them in the comfort of your home. Walk around in them, stand in them, and put them to the test. If they don’t fit or something is off, back to the warehouse they go.

Before I share my favorite places to find comfortable heeled sandals here are some other posts you might want to check out. You will be able to tell that I love to talk about shoes.

Heeled Sandals – A Closet Essential For Summer

I will be honest I am a 3″ heel lover. That is my sweet spot. Since I am 5′ 1/2″ tall I love wearing a 3″ heel. It just helps with proportion when I am putting an outfit together. You will also find several 2″ heels in my closet as well. I tend to pull those out with shorter dresses, skirts, and shorts in the summer.

Whatever your height a comfortable heeled sandal is handy to have. You can dress them up or dress them down. My favorite color to wear in the summer is either a nude or a cognac. Those colors of shoes complement so many colors that we wear in the warmer months.

What To Look For In A Comfortable Shoe

Each of us has unique feet and what fits my foot well may or may not fit your foot. However, we should always look for these things to find comfortable options.

Comfort features

The heel height, the width of the toe box, and the stability of the shoe on your foot are all important. Some brands will talk about these types of features on their websites. Other features that I like to look for are extra padding in the footbed and built-in arch support.

What Are The Shoes Made Of

How does the leather feel to the touch? Is it soft and supple or stiff? Some leathers will stretch more than others so you need to take that into account when purchasing.

Fit Points To Look For

You want to make sure your heeled sandals fit. You don’t want them to be too short and your toes hang off the front. You don’t want them to be too long and have a lot of space at the back of the shoe. Also, does your arch line up at the right spot on the arch of the shoe? Is the shoe tight or loose?

In the summer our feet can swell due to the heat. Make sure you try them on in the morning and in the evening to ensure the perfect fit.

3 Comfortable Heeled Sandals Styles To Complete All Your Summer Looks

For summer there are three types of heeled sandals that come in handy to pair with your favorite summer looks.

Heeled Sandal

When I refer to heeled sandals I envision a sandal with a stiletto heel like I have on above. This particular sandal is so good that I have it in black too. When I am looking for comfortable sandals my first stop is always the Inez website. They have beautiful classic designs and they make shoes for women who love heels and comfort. The quality of their leathers, the details of the shoe design, and the craftsmanship all contribute to the comfort of their shoes. I have several pairs of their shoes and have never had to “break in” a pair. They are always comfortable right out of the box. Here are some of my favorite heeled sandal styles.

Block Heeled Sandal

Many people love a block-heeled sandal for the extra stability that the thicker heel adds. I agree that the extra stability is nice especially if I go over a 3″ heel. The other time that they come in handy is when you are going to an outdoor event. The thicker heel keeps you from sinking into the grass or other softer surface.

Block heel sandals are available in all shapes and heights. I have this block heel sandal style in a couple of colors that I love to wear in the summer with shorts. The block heel is round, but I still consider it a block heel. I have been wearing Loeffler Randall heeled sandals for years and would recommend any of the block heel sandals that catch your eye.

The other brand of block-heeled sandals that are known for their comfort features is Sarah Flint. Season after season she makes this style of heel. Some colors such are the nude and white are in stock every season and then she will add other seasonal colors and patterns. I have friends who swear by this shoe for comfort when they need to stand for long periods.

The iconic Stuart Weitzman block heel has to be included in this. I remember when they came out several years ago and have a pair in my closet in nude. They have been a part of my shoe closet for close to 10 years now. They still look the same so if you don’t have a shoe similar to this you don’t have to worry about them going out of style. They are a classic summer sandal style.

Here are some of my favorite block heel styles.

Kitten Heel Sandal

What woman doesn’t love a cute kitten heel. Kitten heels have been around since the late 1950s and I am so happy to see them back in the shoe trends. I have always had some in my closet because they are just enough height for so many summer outfits. Here are some of my favorites for the season.

Thanks, Let’s Keep In Touch

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope that I helped you find a great heeled sandal to add to your closet today. Comfortable sandals make all the difference in how you feel at the end of the day. Life is too short to have unhappy feet.
