Petite Pajamas You Will Want To Wear All Of The Time
You know the favorite pajamas that you pull out over and over again. We all have them. Some of them have been with us for a while. Well, I am going to help you find some new ones that you will add into your rotation. These petite pajamas are all brands and styles that I love to wear on repeat.
This post is going to focus on petite sleepwear that you will wear in the cooler months. I don’t know about you, but those are always a bit harder to find. But once you find them, then you want them in multiple colors or patterns. So let’s take a look at some petite sleepwear that will not only be cute to wear, but also fit your petite frame.
My Favorite Styles Of Petite Sleepwear
As you can see, I am not a one type of fabric petite sleepwear loving kind of woman. I like different types of fabrics for different temperatures. Some of us sleep hot, while other don’t. I’m lucky in that I don’t get hot when I sleep at night. I may live in the South, but it still gets pretty chilly here so I like to dress accordingly for bedtime.
Cotton poplin pajamas are some of my favorites. The style I like is very similar to men’s pajamas, but in feminine colors and patterns. After trying several brands, PrintFresh does the best job with making petite pajamas. The sleeve length, the pant length, and the rise have all been adjusted to true petite sizing. Yes, they are on the pricier side but the pajamas last. The quality of the fabric and the fun prints will put a smile on your face every time you pull them out to wear them.
I have also found that their sleepshirts also work well for petites. The sleeves are designed to be 3/4 length so they are full length for me. So if you sleep warm in the winter or live in a warmer climate one of these might be a good option for you. Here are some of my favorite prints that come in petites sizing from PrintFresh.
Every woman should own a pair of silk pajamas. Yes, they are a luxury if you get silk, not satin. Here’s how to tell the difference easily. Silk is a natural fiber and is the most hypoallergenic fabric. So if you have sensitive skin silk is the way to go for your petite sleepwear.
I have had the pajamas that I am wearing in the photo above for a few years and they still look as good as the day I got them. Silk is a very durable fabric and feels wonderful to the touch of your skin. What I would suggest is that you watch for them to go on sale. I find that at the holidays and Valentine’s Day you can usually find a good sale on them. Here are some great silk pajamas that I find to be petite friendly. If you need to hem them, these styles can be hemmed easily.
Cotton Knit Pajamas
Who doesn’t love a soft cotton knit or jersey knit fabric for sleeping. This fabric is probably the easiest to find in petite sizing. You can always count on Land’s End to have a good selection of pajamas in this type of fabric. Their fit and quality is very good for the price point.
The other brand that I always turn to for this type of fabric is Kate Spade New York. They always have the same style season after season that is petite friendly. The pants are cropped and sleeves are different lengths, but never full length. So they work and the prints are always so fun.
Who doesn’t love a good pair of flannel pajamas when it is really cold outside. They are actually one of my favorite things to put on at the end of a long day before I cook dinner. There are two brands that are my go to brands for flannels.
LL Bean is THE source for petite flannel pajamas in a traditional plaid. They make the best plaids year in and year out. So if they work for you, you are in luck because you can find a new pair every season.
PJ Salvage also makes flannels in fun prints every season. I have found that some years they are more petite friendly than others. I have a collection of these fun prints and some years they fit my short legs better than other years so they can be a hit or miss. They are definitely worth a try. What is nice is the way that they make the cuff on the sleeve you can easily turn it up a notch and it still looks cute.
