Those of you who know me well know that I am always on the hunt for something. This time of year the hunt turns to a great casual spring dresses. For me, there’s nothing better to wear this time of year than a cute dress. It is so refreshing to be able to wear something that is comfortable and easy. A dress is just that. Just add a few accessories, grab your handbag and you are out the door.
The green dress that I am wearing was so appealing to me because it was a knit dress. Knit or lightweight sweater dresses are a great transition piece. The green is actually a shade that I would wear now and then I will pull this out in early fall here in the south. It is also available in a cream with blue trim. Tuckernuck is one of my go to online boutiques for cute dresses and oh so many other things. Here are a few of their current knit dresses. Remember these always pack and travel beautifully.
Where to Shop for Great Casual Spring Dresses
I am just going to be honest. Finding dresses in store is not something that I have much luck with. Letting my fingers do the scrolling and adding to cart just seems easier these days. Most websites even have the ability for you to search dresses by type such as day dress, casual, cocktail, etc. which makes it even easier. That why I always swear by knowing your measurements and shopping that way. I even wrote a blog post about it that you can read here. You can just order in a few to try and what doesn’t work, just send back.
So where are my favorite places to shop for casual spring dresses:
- Nieman Marcus
- Frances Valentine
- Draper James
- J. McLaughlin
They always have a great selection in a wide variety of price points. That is something else I love about shopping online for anything is that you can set your pricepoint so that you are not tempted by something that is out of your price range.
I have put together a gallery of what I think are great casual spring dresses. I tried to find some very casual to dressy casual dresses that would be great to wear while running errands or to a celebration of some sort.
As always, thanks for taking the time to read this post. I hope that I provided you with a little inspiration for finding a great casual dress or two for this spring.
The text that is underlined and shows up in a different color is usually a link to another blog post that I have written, another site, or a product. The links to a product are affiliate links. What that means is that if you click on a link to a product and make a purchase, Sassy for Short (a.k.a Beth) gets a small commission at no extra cost to you. The same goes if you click on any of the pictures to get more information about a product. I really appreciate you supporting the brands that make it possible for me to keep this blog going!
